Before any type of metal is galvanized, it needs to be cleaned of rust and uneven particles. One of the most effective ways to do this is with shot blasting.

The process involves firing a high-pressure spray of abrasive steel materials onto the steel surface. The process is an incredibly efficient and fast way to remove surface contaminants without chemically altering a fabrication.

Shot blasting also helps to prepare the metal for coating, making the process easier and improving the quality of the end result.

We have range of heavy duty shot blasting cabinets at our Medway plant. We can arrange collection and delivery of your steel to our Medway site and, if required, galvanizing and powder coating afterwards under the same roof.
